Police make arrest in stabbing that killed 1, injured 1 at Phoenix business
Phoenix police arrested Rodrigo Zamora Valenzuela, 29, on suspicion of stabbing two folks, killing 1 of them, Thursday afternoon.
Officers responded to reviews of a stabbing in close proximity to 27th Avenue and Jackson Road all-around midday, according to office spokesperson Sgt. Andy Williams.
They learned Zamora was suspected of attacking 46-yr-previous Jeffrey Matteson and a girl at a company, Williams explained.
Another girl experienced a minor harm, but did not require clinic transport. Officers uncovered and arrested Zamora speedily, Williams explained.
Matteson and the girl have been both equally taken to a medical center in important ailment. The lady was afterwards in stable problem, but Matteson died at the medical center, Williams reported.
Zamora was booked into a Maricopa County jail on suspicion of just one count of initial-degree murder and one rely of tried first-diploma murder, Williams claimed.
